35 NEC staff volunteers become guardian angel for children from underprivileged family

How does it feel like being a guardian angel for children from the underprivileged family? Mr Takehiko Kato, Public Relations Division Manager of NEC Business Coordination Centre (Singapore) Pte Ltd said he won't mind coming back for more.
"The children are simply too cute!"
35 NEC staff volunteers were paired up with 35 children from Care Corner Student Care Centre for an educational and entertaining tour. The children and volunteers were pampered with exciting programmes of a virtual ride in "Dino Land", a visual voyage through the internal organs of human body and an eye-opening tour of Singapore Science Centre to learn about the many amazing facts of the universe.
NEC companies in Singapore has identified Care Corner Student Care Centre as its beneficiary for this community project for children from underprivileged family.
This project is also part of the programme for President's Challenge in conjunction with the Singapore Small Kindness Movement Week from 1 to 8 September 2002.
Besides the educational tour, the NEC companies have also donated 1 used PC,10 office chairs and US$3000 granted by Social Contribution OJP fund to the centre.
